Jules Bogen was born in Manhattan in 1973, where he still lives. He has been drawing since he could hold a crayon, and in 2006 began attending the Pure Vision Arts’ studio.
Bogen’s paintings reflect his knowledge and passion for obscure television, test patterns, movie trivia and product logos. He researches material for his paintings on the internet. Bogen’s work is characterized by simple bold geometric designs, often with text, and is included in many private collections.
