Victor Critescu, whose work is included in numerous private collections, was born in Romania in 1959. He has been drawing continually since he was a young child and always carries pencil and paper with him everywhere he goes. His artwork reflects his interest in churches and Christian iconography. Victor currently attends the Pure Vision Arts studio in New York City, where he creates his small and cryptic architectural renderings, slowly, and with great attention to the detail that makes each one of them different from the next.
Victor's artwork has been selected for numerous New York State Juried Exceptional Artworks exhibitions during the 1990s. In 2001, one of his drawings was chosen for an exhibition of talented artists with developmental disabilities that was organized by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
