Barry was born in 1979 and currently lives in Long Island with his Mother and Father. Art has always been his favorite activity and he has been drawing consistantly since he was 3 years old. He began attending the Pure Vision Art Studio in 2005. He uses markers to create unique drawings which juxtapose intricate geometric designs with distorted figures. His surrealistic dreamscapes are unsettling and disturbing and depict actual dreams and nightmares he claims "dont make sense". "Sometimes i dream about things like scary clowns chasing me around a building that is on fire and full of smoke. My dreams and my art are about things like that." Barry's work was recently featured in an article entitled Autism and Outsider Art in Out of Art Magazine and is included in private collections.
