Alba was born in New York City in 1983 and has been passionate about art since she was a young child. She attended The School for the Future until age 21 where she completed a multi media portfolio. She currently attends the Pure Vision Arts studio where she creates and exhibits her abstract expressionistic paintings characterized by a vivid sense of color and rich surface textures. Alba’s paintings are included in numerous private collections.

In addition to being an artist, Alba has been interning at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 4 years. She works in collaboration with a facilitator studying art history and gives tours to children, adults, and special needs audiences.
